National Library Week
3rd Annual
Book Drive coming April 5th!
Throughout the month of April, donate books by trans and gender-expansive authors to support our Lending Library!
Why a book drive?
In April 2026 we will be having our third National Library Week book drive! Our goal this year is to grow our collection of books by gender expansive authors. In curating our library, we center lived experience. We believe that marginalized people know their stories better than anyone else and that our voices deserve to be heard. We cannot let our history be erased! Gender expansive people are not objects to be observed and speculated about. We deserve to define our own existence. Every book on our wishlist is written by a gender expansive author.
The Trans-Wa Lending Library currently has a collection of over 350 books all written by and/or relating to trans and gender expansive people. It is located in Bellingham, WA. Please come visit!
Please help us show support for the trans community by donating to our National Library Week book drive!
